Mid-Range Tour

Sun City Resort is an internationally acclaimed resort located in the North West Province which is 2.5 hours’ drive from Johannesburg. It is known as one of the world’s most unique resorts, surrounded by mountains and the untamed majesty of the African bushveld Pilanesberg National Park, where a large variety of wild animal’s roam freely.

With 4 elegant hotels, the resort has a huge variety of entertainment and activities for the whole family to enjoy from safari’s, golfing, adrenaline adventures, arcade games, spa’s, water activities, bird viewing, garden, delicious dining restaurants, retail outlets and more.

Pilanesberg National Park is one of the most fascinating Big 5 game reserves and is also the most accessible being in a malaria free environment. The Park is the fourth largest national park in South Africa and covers an area of 55 000 hectares. It is home to a wide variety of southern Africa’s animals like; the Big 5 (elephant, rhino, leopard, buffalo and lion), cheetahs’ giraffe’s, zebras, hyenas, wild dogs’ crocodiles, antelopes, and some 300 bird species to name a few.

Really great tour. Tshepo is a fabulous guide. He has so much information to share. He's very helpful and friendly. Today's tour was exactly as promised. Was a great pace.I can highly recommend this tour and particularly Tshepo. You will learn so much and have a better understanding.

This was one of the best tours I have ever been on! I organize Power & Grace Women’s Fitness Retreats & our tour did not disappoint! Our guide was amazing & full of knowledge. He showed all the areas of Soweto! Each area was rich with history & stories from his childhood. The people we met were wonderful & eager to share their lives with us. This is one of the most genuine experiences my group has ever had. I highly recommend it!

It was the most eye-opening tour we have ever had. Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything to us. As being a local and had grown up in Soweto he knew from his own experience. We highly recommend this tour if you want to learn more about the history of Soweto.

What a great tour! BEST TOUR GUIDE EVER!!!! Thanbang was incredible from the start. He got to know us briefly and then made suggestions to the tour to best meet our needs. We always felt safe and secure in his presence. His knowledge of the history of SA along with his vision for the future was a welcomed dialogue from such an astute young man. If you want an immersive experience, I highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed!

For of us came all the way from Nigeria, being the first time in SA we were very skeptical about Soth Africa but Thabang made our stay so great we did 2 extra tours with him.
